Robert is a former Assistant Chief and Senior Counsel in the Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Division of the New York City Law Department. He brings nearly three decades of sophisticated and multifaceted New York real property tax law practice to Ryan Law. He represents commercial and industrial property owners in all aspects of real property tax administrative protests and courtroom litigation. Steve brings more than 15 years of experience in valuation and assessment appeals of commercial properties in the Northeast. He specializes in providing real property analysis, valuations, and appeal recommendations for income-producing properties. Teams under Steve’s management have delivered significant savings across all property types at all levels of appeal. He understands the real-world implications of ensuring correct property tax assessments for owners and operators of large, national portfolios. Steve has extensive training in complex valuation issues and a Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) designation from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and is known for developing innovative appeal issues and presenting complicated concepts in a manner that is easily comprehended to win results at all levels of appeal.

Paul brings more than 30 years of experience in valuation and assessment appeals for commercial and industrial properties throughout the Northeast. Throughout Paul’s career, he has actively worked across the entire Northeast specializing in both New York and Connecticut. Paul understands all the various complexities the states he works in have when valuing properties for assessment purposes and uses this knowledge to generate significant savings for his clients.
