He is responsible for delivering value through detailed valuation analyses, appeal recommendation guidance, annual forecasting, pre-acquisition/pre-development due diligence, and overall process improvement. He further specializes in providing commercial property tax appeal services for owners and managers of office, retail, industrial, multifamily, hospitality, and special-use properties throughout the Southeast, representing the entire tax appeal process for more than $5 billion in assets annually. Professional affiliations include Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (member candidate) and NAIOP, Georgia Chapter, where he was named a 2017 Future Leader.

Rupam earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate from the University of Georgia.

Ashley Brown

Director

Ashley has more than 11 years of property tax experience and specializes in real property analysis, valuation, and property tax appeals. Ashley handles the review and appeal process for properties totaling more than $6 billion in assets each year. Ashley is a client manager for property owners from the U.S. and Canada who hold more than $15 billion in assets in the U.S. Her areas of appeal expertise include Tennessee (registered Tennessee Agent), metro Atlanta area, and coastal Georgia. She is a previous leader within the Association of Young Real Estate Professionals (AYREP) and is currently an active advocate and fundraiser for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Missy Shepherd

Missy offers clients more than 10 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate valuation, negotiation, and exemptions. She specializes in the analysis of multifamily, warehouse, office, and hospitality property assessments throughout Georgia and maintains excellent working relationships with Georgia assessors. Missy is a Property Associate of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) as well as an Associate Member of the Georgia Association of Assessing Officials (GAAO) and National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Chris Langston

Senior Manager

Chris specializes in providing detailed real property analysis, valuations, appeal recommendations, due diligence, and budgeting for income-producing properties, including office, multifamily, hospitality, retail, industrial, and healthcare throughout the Southeast. He is a Certified Member of the Institute (CMI) with the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and manages several national accounts with total assets in excess of $7.8 billion. Before joining Ryan, he was a senior accountant, focusing on property tax with a national retailer, where he was responsible for the review and analysis of all real and personal property tax expenses and managed the appeals process. Chris received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Georgia.

Connor Murray

Connor specializes in providing commercial real estate analysis, valuation, and appeal management for a wide variety of property types. His jurisdictional expertise includes counties across the state of Georgia, including metro Atlanta. He holds a Master’s degree in real estate development from Georgia Tech and Bachelor’s degrees in both finance and real estate from the University of Georgia.
