Triangulation is one of the most complex areas in VAT. Many businesses will be involved in three-party transaction chains that qualify for the EU triangulation simplification; however, standard SAP has limited functionality within this area, relying on manual actions during the sales order process. Ensuring staff correctly recognise when triangulation applies is a huge challenge.
