Dallas, Texas – Ryan, a leading global tax services firm, is celebrating its 25th anniversary and honoring this important milestone with an inaugural Firm-wide day of service. On July 14, 2016, Ryan employees around the world will spend a day volunteering in their local communities, cooking and serving meals to the homeless and working in area food banks. Ryan intends to establish this inaugural “RyanSHARES” day as an annual event to celebrate the Firm’s anniversary while impacting the lives of people all over the world.
“Giving back to our communities as we commemorate our 25th year in business is the perfect way to reflect on the hard work and phenomenal growth Ryan and its employees have achieved,” said G Brint Ryan, Chairman and CEO of Ryan. “I sincerely thank our employees for living Ryan’s core value of ‘Generosity—We Share our Success,’ by making a positive impact on hunger relief around the world in honor of our anniversary.”
In late 2015, worldwide hunger relief rose to the forefront as the cause most important to Ryan employees, resulting in a $100,000 gift to Feeding America and the Global FoodBanking Network during the holidays. RyanSHARES will serve as a continuation of the Firm’s dedication to feed the hungry and change communities for the better.
Giving back has always been an important value at Ryan. Robust participation in charitable activities has grown significantly over the past decade, and The Ryan Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) in 2010 to oversee corporate philanthropy and community outreach initiatives.
