State, Local, Federal, and International Tax
Ryan professionals possess a unique passion for their work. It comes from an atmosphere that encourages our people to think creatively about solving complex tax issues for our premier global clients. State, local, federal, and international taxation is a dynamic field that offers the best professionals an unrivaled opportunity. Businesses have difficulty keeping pace with evolving tax issues and the complexity of multi-jurisdictional tax laws. To help our clients minimize tax liability and stay ahead of the evolving changes, we offer a wealth of training and support that makes our employees the most knowledgeable tax experts in the industry.

Audit vs. Tax
In order to understand our clients' businesses, our consultants must think and act like auditors. They visit the clients' facilities and study their operations and scrutinize their tax documents, accounts payable records, capital improvement contracts, and other important sources of information. After careful review of this information, our consultants switch gears and become tax experts. They dig deeper and research tax code and regulations, analyze prior law, and study cases and hearings. This investigative process ensures that we recover every overpaid tax dollar for our clients.
